Criddle`s Cafe in Layton

Went for breakfast here for first time. They were really busy, but staff was hustling, and food was out promptly, hot and really good! You'd swear they had fairies in there reading your mind the was so fast! Server was amazing. She needs a raise.

I came with a group of five people during the lunch rush and didn't have to wait too long for our food. Everyone at the table was satisfied with their meals. Lots of great vegetarian options as well. Our server was nice and it did a pretty good job. The food was amazing. I love the Cozy environment here. The crowd is very diverse and pretty interesting. Some bikers and older guys but also large families young couples and groups of friends. It looks a little rundown from the outside and is in super easy to spot from the road. I'll be coming back to eat here in the future and will give more detailed reviews when I do. I would recommend giving it a shot.

Everything was delicious, service was amazingly fast, and the prices are very reasonable. It will be hard to go anywhere else for breakfast after this. Now I can't wait to try the lunch and dinner menus.

I love eating at this super yummy family resterant. They are super sweet and I love their scones. Their chicken fried steak is also delicious. One of my go to spots for breakfast.

Best Chicken fried steak in town!! I cant say enough good things about Criddles, Everything I've tried there has been incredible. But some of my favorites are the pancakes, the scones, any omelet on the menu and of course their coffee!!

Fast and friendly and all ways good a little more SOS on potatoes would be awesome. The waitresses make you feel welcome and when they sit down beside you to take your order the visit is that much better.

The best food and service in the state.

Criddle's cafe is a clone of Sil's that has the same menu if but the same atmosphere. It's known for 2 things, their SOS sauce on hashbrowns and their scones smothered in honeybutter. Get the "Emmy's Breakfast" special and you'll get both for ~7.50Great food, speedy service, almost as good as Sill's which is saying a lot.

Great food, we went early to avoid the rush and ordered our food barely took a breath before our food was brought out to us. Super nice workers, and the scones are the best with the very best honey butter.

This place was highly recommended by someone we knew. After our experience we definitely think this place is a hidden gem!! The service/staff were amazing and friendly, and the food came out extremely quick. Not to mention the food itself was DELICIOUS, large sized portions for a great price, and tasted amazing! We ordered well more than we could eat ha and will definitely be back with more new comers!

Generous food portions and very fairly-priced. It's great for breakfast as well. The location is very easy to find parking as well.The scones are absolutely amazing! And definitely come on Friday mornings, they make a very delicious Hawaiian style French toast with delicious syrup. I highly recommend it. I will definitely be going back to this place often.

One of the best but little known breakfast places in Ogden! Feel-Good, country, home cookin, but in the city. Always a line but worth the wait.

Been here a few times and I just love how fast this place is! The customer service is fast and amazing when your hungry! Our waitress was Jentry!! Her smile and her cute personality made our visit the best. My 3 year old is the pickiest kid I have ever met and will actually eat the scone bites!! Love love love this place even when there’s a wait all day long!! Will come back always!! 😁

Fast. That's what makes this place the best. They are fast. If everyone else in the entire world of Ogden would just go as fast as these people they would actually get up to good. These people are the best. Because they are fast if I order it I can have it on my table in less than 1 minute and that's what makes these people great. Nothing else. Time is the only thing that matters. Time time time time. My time is more important than anything else don't for one second think that you're quality or your customer service gives one damn rip in this world it is your time and this place gives you your time back I just want to get in and get out and get on with my life and that's what makes this place the best they do not mess around

The scones were great! I also liked the SOS hash browns. The bacon was cooked perfectly in my opinion.

The boss breakfast is amazing. I get my hash browns without SOS but it's great with it as well. You can't beat the pace and friendly servers here. I think it's my favorite place to eat hands down. Also this meal is pretty big for $9. If you've never tried this place, I highly suggest that you do.

Courteous, considerate, professional service. Servers pay great attention to the guests. Serve great tasting hot food. We go here for breakfast when we have time instead of that OTHER nationwide 24 hour restaurant that doesn't know how to treat customers. Criddles Cafe is the best place to go for a home cooked tasty meal and great service. They have good prices for the size of the serving.

Amazing place and an amazing family feel. Chicken Fried Steak is phenomenal. Pro tip(s): your kids will love the Bradz (chocolate chip pancakes) and you will love the scone or the cinnamon roll. Seriously the biggest cinnamon roll I’ve ever seen!

The food is only the best small-town greasy spoon feel kinda breakfast you can get any old where and the gals at Criddles are friendly and polite. It's always crowded because it's always good, but it's worth the short wait when there is one. Best bacon around, the scones are yummy, and the service is exceptional.

This place keeps it real with great food and and awesome family environment. They are closed on Sunday to show respect and that some things are worth more than money. All the more reason to support them Mon-Sat

The food here is TO DIE for. We go here for breakfast and constantly get the chicken fried steak with the giant scones. I LOVE 💘 IT! Hot fresh coffee in my cup the whole time. The service here is also absolutely the best. Everyone is so friendly with that cozy dinner feel. Definitely reccomend!
